Looking to connect with other like-minded young adults? Check out Youth MOVE Massachusetts’s online peer community!
What does the YMM Server offer? Youth MOVE Massachusetts has created a Discord server for young adults (16-25) to have a safe space to connect with YMM staff and other youth! Our goal is to build an online community where you can share experiences, exchange resources, and
support one another. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, find peer support, or just hang out in a elcoming and judgment-free space, our server is here for you. Join us for fun activities and engaging discussions, all designed to empower and uplift young adults like you!
Joining our Discord server is easy! Here’s how you can do it:
- Create a Discord Account: If you don’t already have one, download the Discord app or go to discord.com to sign up for a free account.
- Get the Invite Link: To join our specific server, you’ll need an invite link. Either email us at youthmovema@ppal.net or fill out our quick registration form here(https://forms.gle/9NJmPXH3RBkktBCZ9), and we will send you the invite link!
- Click the Link: Once you have the link, click on it. If you’re on a web browser, it will open in Discord. If you’re on the app, it will redirect you there automatically.
- Join the Server: After clicking the link, you’ll be prompted to join the server. Hit the “Join” button, and you’ll be added to the community.
- Read and Accept the Rules: Our server has a set of rules you need to read and accept before participating. This way, we can ensure that everyone has a safe and positive experience online.
- Explore and Engage: Once inside, check out the channels, introduce yourself, and start connecting with others! Don’t hesitate to ask us questions if you’re unsure where to start.
As our server community grows, we’ll continue adding more events to the Discord calendar. To kick things off, YMM is introducing a weekly peer support drop-in hour, a space for young adults to connect while a YMM staff member is live on the server. Drop-in hours will be held weekly on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 pm.
